Federal-Hire-Act

You can save money hiring people right now! 

Yes it is true,  the federal government has developed a program to put people back to work and to give employers incentives to put people back to work.  It is a federal program called the HIRE ACT 2010 and it works like this;

• Hire someone who has not worked more than 40 hours in the last 60 days
• Have them fill out an affidavit attesting to that fact
• Pay only the employee portion of the SSI tax (6.2%)
• If that person works for 52 weeks there are additional tax credits of up to $1000

It is that simple! 

Now we suggest that you consult with your tax specialist to help you better understand how and if your company qualifies but act fast as this program ends January 1, 2011.
