An open letter to Candidates,

As a Job Seeker, if you found this page, you are probably in a position where you need to find a job or don't really like your job.  This page has job search sites and resources to help you find a job. 

There are many upsides to working with a good recruiter.  For instance, often times a recruiter will know of positions inside of companies that have not even hit the streets.  When recruiters have that kind of relationship with employers, it is an excellent way of getting a great position. 

The downside is that it is all about timing.  In real estate the adage is 'Location Location Location'.  Similarly, in recruiting it is 'Timing, Timing Timing'.   That means the position has to be open at the time you are looking. 

Since recruiters are paid by the companies to find people with the skills to fill the job, the reality is that a good recruiter will spend time with the candidates who will get them paid.
